During the UK team's recent week in Leer (South Sudan) two exciting new partnerships were established with NGOs working in the education development field. For a small organisation such as Gua Africa it is crucial to learn from other organisations that are working alongside us in the local region of Leer.

Save the Children's Education team based in Leer met with the Gua Africa team several times and shared their experiences of constructing classrooms for primary schools. UNIDO opened up their staff accommodation to the Gua Africa team and were also very generous in both their knowledge and resource sharing.

Without their support the task of constructing the first major secondary school in Leer would be a much more difficult task. We are excited about the prospect of working alongside both organisations in the future.
